چکیده

Abstract One of the most prevalent genetic diseases in world is beta thalassemia. Hemoglobin synthesis decreased by blood condition Patients with thalassemia exhibit a range bone problems, including as spinal deformities, osteopenia and osteoporosis, well growth failure. This study’s main goal was to evaluate gait balance Albanian β-thalassemia patients. In this study, 18 participants aged 17 29 years old (5 males 13 females) from three distinct epidemiological cities Albania took part. Gait analysis performed using “ T&T medilogic medizintechnik gmbh ” wi-fi insoles. “General Parameters”, results “Effective Foot Length, left [%]” parameter mean [67.59%], reveals approx 2% difference compared relative normative [69.7%]. Also, [65.49%], approximately 3.5% data comparisons revealed statistically significant differences between “is” “nom.” measurements for following variables: “Rel Double Step Length”, “Double Duration”, Length Right” “Width Of (p<0.005). Results rest variables shwed not difference. The aim study assess individuals Based on result reveal % average line which related effective distribution insole length showing specific indication insecure gait. According findings, issues are health issue patients likely caused disease-related side-effects such high calcium levels after transfusions, inactivity insufficient muscle mass, all other health-related disease conditions. It advised that exam be included their regular check-ups. Future studies should conducted involving larger ß-thalassemia take into account unique state category better problems general static dynamic posture problems. Clinicians’ specialists rehabilitation experts when planning B-Thal programs sholud use check-up.

Evaluation of relationship between biochemical parameters and osteoporosis in patients with β-thalassemia major

Background: Osteoporosis is one of the late complications of β-Thalassemia major. The pathogenesis of osteoporosis depends on different factors. Ineffectiveness of hematopoiesis is the major factor, and the other factors are defected by hormonal functions or biochemical parameters. Osteoclasts hyperactivity in thalassemia increases the serum receptor activator of nuclear factor Kappa B ligand (...
